Circulation Of Our Appeals

It has been brought to our attention that our friends' emails (circa late May/early June) appealing for assistance are still in circulation. One of our friend still receives phone calls and emails to authenticate the appeal.

We would love to bring to your attention that we have successfully raised enough money for Kai Xin's transplant within a month plus. Kai Xin had undergone the transplant and recuperated in NUH Singapore for about 3 months. She has recently came back to Kuala Lumpur and she's recovering fine.

Yayasan Sin Chew addressed this matter on 30 September 2009 and the content as shown below.

Hi Eric & Huey Jing,

Glad to know that your baby is safe and sound, while I am happy that your baby is alright now, it's the opposite regarding my friend who now herself needs financial assistance for her bone marrow transplant.

She is a brilliant girl, top scorer with 11A in the recent SPM, but she could not achieve her dream to pursue her studies after being diagnosed with leukemia.

We, as her friends, have set up a fund raising website, emulating the success of the two of you in collecting funds for the operation.

I humbly wish to request that you post a link to the website so that her plight would be exposed to more people, and hopefully the same generous people who have been following this blog could contribute to my friend.

May God bless you and your family,

Thank you

Thanks Kar Hoe, we will do just that in a jiffy. Just remember, nothing is impossible, just pray hard.
